Three men arrested in Smethwick on suspicion of possessing drugs after car searched by police
Three man were arrested and a quantity of drugs and cash seized after police searched a car in in Smethwick.
Officers from West Midlands Police spotted the car on Holly Lane on Monday and, acting on information, searched the car and discovered class A drugs and cash.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and remain in custody for questioning.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Three men have been arrested after we seized drugs in Smethwick.
"At around 8.15pm on Monday, officers spotted a vehicle parked on Holly Lane.
"Acting on information, a search was conducted on the vehicle and multiple wraps of class A drugs and a quantity of cash was discovered.
"Three men, aged 45, 32 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
"They remain in custody for questioning."
