Appeal launched for witnesses following racially aggravated assault in Hagley
West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a racially aggravated assault in Hagley at the weekend.
The incident happened on Birmingham Road in Hagley at around 12:15pm on Sunday, near the roadworks area heading towards Stourbridge Road.
While in traffic, a man got out of his car and assaulted the man in the car behind, while making racially aggravated comments towards him.
The victim was travelling in a black Toyota Yaris and the suspect in a beige Citroen Berlingo.
PC Maxine Unitt from West Mercia Police said: “This was a particularly distressing incident as it happened in a busy area in the middle of the day, so was witnessed by lots of people, including several children.
“If you were in the area at the time witnessed the incident, or perhaps have dashcam or mobile phone footage which shows it, please do get in touch.
