Sergeant Ross Treacy, of the Dudley North Team, said: "This was a good result for the community and for us as the grow has been dismantled and we’ve disrupted the drugs supply in the area.

“Cannabis grows like this can have a devastating impact on the local community and residents.

“By bypassing electricity, it can lead to catastrophic house fires for that property and the surrounding houses, along with having a knock-on effect for ASB and other crimes in the area.

“We’ll continue to carry out investigations and warrants like this, but we need your help to report any concerns so we can act on them.”

No one was present at the address at the time; however, police enquiries are continuing around the area.

The force has asked anyone with information on the property to contact them via their 101 number, or on the Live Chat service on their website, quoting log reference 542 of 19 September.
