Smethwick man charged after huge amounts of drugs seized by police in Birmingham

A Smethwick man has been charged with drugs supply offences after a police raid found 15 kilograms of cannabis and large amounts of class A drugs.

Xhevahir Ademaj, aged 27, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

Officers arrested a man at an address in Ryland Street, Birmingham, and seized more than 15 kilograms of cannabis plus "thousands of pounds of class A drugs", West Midlands Police said.

The man was arrested on Tuesday (September 9).

Ademaj appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on October 9.
