Man charged with resisting arrest, racial harassment and possessing guns after 'multiple firearms' seized in Pensnett
A Pensnett man has been charged with possessing a shotgun and with using an imitation firearm to resist arrest.
West Midlands Police officers attended an address in Comber Drive in Pensnett at around 6.45pm on Friday (September 12), where a man was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
Multiple firearms, both viable and imitation, were seized from the address.
Martin Wilson has now been charged with firearms offences including using an imitation firearm to resist arrest, possession of a shotgun and possession of a firearm.
He was also charged with racially aggravated harassment and criminal damage.
The 35-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday (September 15).
