The move follows complaints about bad behaviour affecting areas such as Dudley Zoo, Wrens Nest Nature Reserve, The Scrolls Park on Stourbridge Road and Hunting Tree Park in Halesowen, and cycle paths along the canal network in Netherton.

Throughout this week Dudley neighbourhood policing teams have been carrying out anti-social behaviour patrols and chatting with residents during Street Watch walks.

Meanwhile an off-road bike operation at the beginning of July saw the seizure of two bikes. These bikes which are now classed as police property were crushed after the owners were found to be breaking the law and riding illegally in public areas.

An abandoned motorbike which had no insurance and no MOT was also confiscated in the borough.

In addition following concerns from residents in Halesowen North officers have conducted speed checks in Woodbury Road.

West Midlands Police officers and volunteers also promoted safety and engaged with residents and businesses during a Street Watch walk in Halesowen town centre.
