19-year-old man arrested after car was stolen in Dudley
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft after officers spotted a car that was reported stolen in Dudley.
West Midlands Police said the arrest was made just hours after the motor was allegedly snatched.
Officers from the force's traffic unit were on patrol on Wednesday (September 3) when they saw the vehicle in Park Avenue in Rowley Regis at around 11.30pm.
The force said a man then tried to flee the scene on foot but was quickly caught and arrested.
A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. He remains in custody while the investigation continues.
