Jahzeen Carpenter, 39, is on trial for assisting an offender (murder) at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The prosecution allege she and her sister Nadine Taylor, both from Dudley, tried to spirit Kami Carpenter out of the country in the days after Cody Fisher was murdered in Crane nightclub, Digbeth on Boxing Day, 2022.

Taylor, aged 45, also of Himley Court, Lower Gornal, was originally charged with the same offence but is not standing trial due to ill health.
