Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving offences following Dudley crash
A man was arrested on suspicion of a number of drink driving offences following a collision on Saturday night.
Officers from West Midlands Police were called to Park Road in Quarry Bank on Saturday night following reports of the collision.
A 42-year-old man who made off from the scene was caught and detained following a foot chase and arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, without insurance and while unfit due to drink or drugs.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We've arrested a man on suspicion of driving offences following a collision in Dudley.
"We were called to Park Road in Quarry Bank on Saturday evening.
"A driver made off but officers were swiftly on the scene and, following a foot chase, detained a 42-year-old man shortly afterwards.
"He was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, without insurance and while unfit due to drink or drugs.
"He remains in custody for questioning."
