Four charged after UK weapons factory near Wolverhampton was broken into
Four people have been charged with criminal damage after a weapons factory in Coven near Wolverhampton was allegedly broken into.
The charges come after officers with Staffordshire Police attended an alleged incident at Moog Aircraft Group in Valiant Way, Pendeford, on August 26.
Iain Evans, aged 32, of West Yorkshire; Bea Sherman, aged 22, of West Sussex; Hana Yun Stevens, aged 23, of London; and Hisham Alkhamesi, aged 22, of Leicestershire, have each been charged with criminal damage to property valued over £5,000 and conspiracy to destroy or damage property of an unknown value relating to the incident.
They were due to appear at Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates Court today.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Four people have been charged with criminal damage offences following an incident at an industrial unit in south Staffordshire earlier this week.
"Officers attended Valiant Way in Pendeford in the early hours of Tuesday (26 August). They are due to appear before magistrates later today (Thursday 28 August)."
Social media posts at the time said it was carried out by a group described as "Palestinian Martyrs for Justice".
