Man, 20, arrested on firearms charge after revolver seized from Dudley
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of a firearms offence after a revolver was seized in Dudley.
West Midlands Police officers arrested a man after recovering a firearm from an address in the Dudley area.
The revolver was discovered during a search at an address in Attingham Drive on Monday (August 25).
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A force spokesperson said: "Following a search of an address on Attingham Drive on Monday, a revolver was discovered by officers.
"A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm. He has since been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
"We’re continuing to take firearms off the streets as part of Operation Target."
