Two teenagers arrested as drugs and cash seized after police foot chase in Lye
Two teenagers were arrested on drugs and weapon charges after police spotted two males "acting suspicously" and gave chase.
The officers from the West Midlands Police Guardian Taskforce were out on patrol in Lye on Wednesday (August 13) when they spotted two males "acting suspiciously" in High Street.
West Midlands Police said the team decided to act on their suspicions, and were proved right when the two decided to try run off.
The suspects were chased, with the officers also catching the moment a package was thrown away.

The suspects were caught and arrested, and the package found to contain a large amount of class A drugs, while a further search also found a large amount of cash and a kitchen knife.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place, as well as possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
Both have since been bailed with strict conditions while the police investigation continues.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Project Guardian is a specialist taskforce which tackles knife crime and youth violence.
"There is particular emphasis on reducing knife crime in under 25-year-olds, through a range of tactics from plain-clothed operations to high visibility patrols.
"If you see something suspicious in your area get in touch with us by calling 101, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to stay anonymous."
