Watch: Police dog chases down and catches screaming violent disorder suspect in Wolverhampton
Two police dogs chased and helped detain three violent disorder suspects in Wolverhampton yesterday (Friday, August 15).
The West Midlands Police Dog Unit posted a congratulatory tweet praising their dogs' exploits.
They said: "Arrests. Offenders from disorder flee in a vehicle and are pursued. They try their luck on foot, main offender is quickly detained by PD Ray. PD Uno takes up the rest of the chase and detains two more. Weapons and other evidence also found and recovered."
West Midlands Police published a video on TikTok of PD Ray's handy work.
They said: "Good boy! PD Ray had a great find in Wolverhampton this morning, helping to detain a man suspected of being involved in a disorder.This weekend, he’ll be tucking into his favourite dinner as a reward for his hard work."
It has been a productive week for the dog unit after PD Kane helped direct officers and paramedics to a vulnerable person hiding in woods.
