Man pushed to the ground and slashed with knife in Birmingham - police appeal for information
West Midlands Police is appealing for information on an attack in which a man was slashed with a knife.
The man was on Monica Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, on Saturday, (August 9) when he was pushed to the ground by two men and slashed at with a knife.
The attack happened at around 6pm, and the man was rushed to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life-changing.
Detectives have since been carrying out enquiries in the area, with extra officers deployed near the scene to offer reassurance to residents.
Police have asked for anyone who saw a turquoise Ford Focus in the area at the time of the attack to contact them directly.
A force spokesperson said: "As part of our investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or saw a turquoise Ford Focus in the area at the time.
"If you have information which could help, please call us on 101 quoting Log 3578 of August 9."
