Kyle Henry, 31, attacked Miah Mucktah after he parked in front of the van on Park Drive, Wednesbury, on August 8, 2023, believing his vehicle had previously been clipped.

After screaming at his victim Henry punched him to the ground, leaving him bleeding on the ground and unconscious. A friend of his then also stole the taxi, which was later recovered by the police.

Father-of-four Henry, of Haigh Street, West Bromwich, pleaded guilty before his trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court to inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Prosecutor Joseph Lees said: "There were two white vans parked on Park Lane, both had five men in them. A taxi parked in front of one of them.

"The defendant, in a high-vis jacket, ran to the taxi and started shouting through the passenger window. He went back to the van but when the taxi driver took photos he got out of the van and ran towards his victim.
