Violent Wednesbury yob jailed for kidnapping and strangling woman leaving her with serious facial injuries
A violent Wednesbury yob has been jailed after kidnapping and strangling a woman last year.
Justin Clarke, originally from Wolverhampton, has a string of violent convictions, pleaded guilty on the day of his trial in June at Wolverhampton Crown Court to kidnap and intentional strangulation.
The 38-year-old, from Wood Green Road, Wednesbury, kidnapped the woman and left her with serious facial injuries after keeping her captive for several hours in December, 2024.
Police were called to his property and bodycam footage was shown to the court and pictures of Clarke's victim's injuries were also shown to Judge Simon Ward KC.
Clarke was on license for another violent crime when he battered bouncers in a pub after an altercation, when he committed the kidnap.
