Staffordshire mother Kirsty Carless found guilty of murdering ex-partner on Christmas Day
A jury has found Cannock mother-of-five Kirsty Carless guilty of murdering her ex-partner Louis Price on Christmas Day.
Carless, who previously admitted manslaughter, murdered the father-of-six in the early hours of Christmas Day, last year.
Carless, of Haling Way, Bridgtown, Cannock, was found guilty of murder, possessing a knife in a public place and assaulting Mr Price. She was found not guilty of intentional strangulation.

The pair endured a toxic relationship over a number of years.
During the two-week trial the jury was shown video footage of Carless, 33, chasing Mr Price around his parents' garden, in Elm Way, Norton Canes, before she killed him. The court heard she was in a jealous rage after realising he had created a profile on a dating website.

Carless, who faces life imprisonment, is due to be sentenced tomorrow (July 31).
Judge Akhlaq Choudhury KC told Carless: "You have been found guilty of murder and I will sentence you tomorrow at midday. In the meantime you can be taken down [into custody]."
The judge thanked the jury for their service in the two-week trial.
