A jury has begun its deliberations in the case of Kirsty Carless who is accused of murdering father of six Louis Price.

The two-week trial at Stafford Crown Court concluded with Judge Akhlaq Choudhury KC giving the jury directions this morning (July 28).

Carless, aged 33 and of Haling Way, Bridgtown, has admitted manslaughter but told the jury during the trial she did not mean to kill her former partner Louis Price.
