She is still recovering in hospital.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man, named Mohammed Amir, from Sheldon, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and failing to stop. He was remanded in custody until the next hearing.

However, police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help with their investigation.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We know the area was busy at the time and we would like to speak to anyone with information which may help our investigation, as well as anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage.
"We would especially like to hear from anyone who saw a silver Mercedes C300 and a black BMW 1-Series being driven in the area around the time of the incident. If you can help, please call 101 quoting log 3448 of 25 June."
