Cloned vehicle halted with 'tactics' over on M6 with 'unrestrained' children in backseat

A cloned vehicle has been stopped on the M6 in Staffordshire with 'tactics' with three children in the back without a seatbelt.

The vehicle, which was allegedly cloned to hide the drivers lack of license and insurance, was stopped using tactics to avoid a chase.

But when the vehicle was pulled over, there were three children inside without seatbelts on.

A post on X from StaffsRCT said: " We stopped this #Clone vehicle J11 M6 this morning using tactics to prevent a pursuit. Cloned to hide the fact that driver had no licence or insurance. 

"3x unrestrained children also in the car. Reported for All offences."

Staffordshire Police have been contacted for a comment.
