Disqualified driver caught at the wheel narrowly avoids immediate jail term
A man who flouted a driving ban by getting behind the wheel has narrowly avoided going to jail.
Kevin Steevans was caught driving a Ford Fiesta on March 30 on Level Street, Brierley Hill, despite being disqualified.
The 39-year-old admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance when he appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court in April, and was sentenced at the same court on Monday.
