Jailed: Balaclava robber ambushed security guard and took cash box holding £13,000
A masked robber who ambushed a security guard and stole a box holding £13,000 in cash before escaping on a motorbike was caught red-handed when his DNA was found on a glove left at the scene.

Balaclava-clad Ross O'Riely, 38, attacked the security guard from behind in broad daylight on a supermarket car park, when his victim was preparing to transport £13,110 in cash, on April 20 this year.
The victim worked for cash handling company Loomis and had just collected money from Sainsbury's in Brierley Hill in a secure box for transportation, Wolverhampton Crown Court heard on Thursday.
Prosecutor Mr Dylan Wagg said: "As the victim was getting in his van to continue his route he was attacked from behind by the defendant, who was wearing a balaclava at the time.
"There was a struggle between the victim and the defendant, the defendant was able to grab the box from the victim."
O'Riely grabbed the secure box containing the money, then hopped on the back of a motorbike being driven by a waiting accomplice and made off. None of the bike, the cash or the box have been located, and the other robber has not been identified.
