Stafford police arrest alleged drink driver who crashed into a hedge
Police in Stafford had a busy Friday night including arresting an alleged drunk driver who ended up in a hedge.
The driver was arrested after taking a breathalyser and blowing a reading of 48 after his Ford car was found in a hedgerow.
Stafford Police Specials tweeted: "We attended multiple incidents last night helping with demand including an RTC where driver had collided with a hedgerow.
"Male arrested and taken to custody where he provided a positive reading of 48. He will now await his day in court."
