Woman to appear in court over weapon charges after arrest near Tesco Extra store
A woman is due to appear in court on weapons charges after an incident near a supermarket in Dudley.
Sonia Mendes, aged 46, from Marbury Drive, Wolverhampton, was arrested after police were called to the site of a Tesco Extra store.
She has since been charged with possession of an imitation firearm and a bladed article in a public place, following her arrest at Town Gate Retail Park on Friday.
She will appear before Wolverhampton magistrates on Monday.
