Arrest made after huge 1,000-plant cannabis farm raided in Dudley town centre
A suspected cannabis farmer has been arrested after police discovered a drug factory with more than 1,000 plants in Dudley town centre.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation when police armed with a search warrant carried out a raid at the premises on Friday.
In a tweet Dudley Town Police posted: "The team conducted a warrant at a premises in the town centre.
"Inside we located a large cannabis factory with over 1000 plants and arrested a male on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.
"All plants and equipment now seized and destroyed."
