Gunshots fired at car in Wolverhampton
A police investigation has been launched after two gunshots were fired at a car in a Wolverhampton street.
Officers said the incident involved a VW Golf which was shot at, in Ashland Street, in Merridale, shortly before 11pm on Monday.
A Wolverhampton Police Twitter post stated: "We're investigating after shots were fired at a car in Ashland Street last night.
"Two gun shots were discharged towards a black VW Golf just before 11pm.
"We suspect the shooting was targeted."
