Rubbish dumped in lane sparks appeal
A council is appealing for information after a “truck-full of rubbish” was dumped in a lane.
Officers were called out to clear the pile of waste blocking Little Pipe Lane in Chorley last Friday.
The authority says its team cleared away rubbish including bin bags, old shelving units, a door, stuffed toys, bedding and more.
It suspects the waste came from a house clearance and is urging anyone who recognises any of the rubbish or if they saw it being loaded onto a vehicle to report it at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/report.
