Suspected thief arrested after footchase at Bentley Bridge
A man was arrested by police after a theft at a Black Country shopping centre.
The incident on Saturday took place at TK Maxx in Bentley Bridge shopping centre, Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Police said the suspect had also breached a court order which prevented him from entering the shopping centre, located on Wednesfield Road.
Security staff were chasing the man on foot when police arrived.
Wednesfield Police tweeted: "We responded to assist TK Maxx and site security, who were in foot pursuit of a shoplifter who had stolen goods.
"The male, who had also breached his court conditions - NOT to enter Bentley Bridge, was detained and arrested
"Stolen goods recovered and returned."
