Teenager left with life-changing injuries after machete attack in Birmingham
A teenager has been left with life-changing injuries after being attacked with a machete in Aston.

West Midlands Police are investigating the attack, which took place in an area near Nelson Road.
The attack is believed to have taken place at 6.20pm on Friday and is understood to have involved around five to 10 youths.
The force is currently reviewing CCTV footage and conducting extra patrols around the area.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "West Midlands Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was attacked with a machete in a park off Nelson Road, Aston, at about 6.20pm on Friday, 18 December.
"It is understood the attack involved about five to 10 youths and the boy suffered life-changing injuries
"Police said their enquiries were continuing and officers were reviewing CCTV footage.
"Extra patrols had also been put on for reassurance.
"Officers are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quote crime reference number 20BW/315459U/20."
