Three arrested over shop burglary after suspicious officers stop car
Three men have been arrested after they were stopped by police officers on their way to investigate a burglary at a shop.
The officers from Bournville A Unit were on their way to investigate a burglary at a shop in Harborne, Birmingham, when they spotted a car in Bartley Green.
Suspecting the car may have been involved in the burglary, they stopped the car and discovered balaclavas and a petrol disc cutter in the boot which appeared to have been used as it was very warm.
The three men in the car were taken into custody and the officers have been praised on Twitter for their "Fantastic pro-active policing skills".
