Police investigation launched after shots fired into Birmingham street
A police investigation has been launched after shots were fired on a busy street in Birmingham.
Shots were released in Springmeadow Grove, near the junction with Wheeler Street, in Newtown.
Officers believe a passenger from a Nissan Qashqai got out of the vehicle before firing on Thursday.



The suspect then climbed back into the car which made off at around 8pm, police have said.
Nobody was injured and two casings have been recovered by the force with enquiries ongoing.
Wheeler Street was cordoned off by officers in the aftermath of the incident with the road opening up this morning.
