Grandmother in her 70s left with broken elbow after Walsall street robbery

A woman in her 70s has been left with a broken elbow and cuts and bruises to her leg after she was robbed on a Walsall street while walking with her daughter and grandchildren.

The grandmother was targeted on Bradford Street at around 10.30am on Thursday, July 13.

The female robber pushed a pushchair into her and stole it along with her her purse.

A family member then chased after the woman and retrieved the purse from the back of the pushchair.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to talk to in connection with the robbery.
