The Walsall Taskforce were faced with incidents across the town yesterday, dealing with two cases of uninsured cars.

The first incident saw the seizure of a Fiat Stilo in the Pleck area of the town after the driver ran away when spotted by officers.

Upon further inspection, the car was found to be held together with pieces of wood and was uninsured, despite having passed MOT recently.

The other incident saw officers report to a collision in the town centre around 2.55pm.

They subsequently reported the driver of the first car for not being insured, with his insurance due to start at 3pm the same day.

The driver of the other car was also reported after it was found that the two children in the back seat did not have car seats.
