An appeal has since been launched to find the culprit after the theft outside Willenhall Lawn Cemetery on Bentley Lane, Willenhall, on Monday.

The car window was smashed and a handbag was taken from inside before the culprit fled in a white Fiat Punto.

The victim's daughter took to Facebook in a bid to appeal for information – saying there were two culprits involved.

The post read: "My Mom was robbed at Willenhall Lawn Cemetery on Bentley Lane, Walsall at around 4pm.

"Two lads in a white Fiat Punto smashed her car window and stole her handbag while she was visiting my dad's grave.

"Handbag contained her phone, purse and all the usuals.

"I don't want to give it the big emotional scene, you can imagine how it feels.

"So if anyone has any info please let us know, we'd all be really grateful. She's ok, but naturally shook up."
