Man in stable condition after being hit with own van
A man is in a stable condition with serious injuries after he was fit by his own van after it was stolen.
The 22-year-old was struck in Paradise Lane, near Featherstone, at around noon on Monday.
He was airlifted to hospital after police said he suffered potentially life changing injuries.
But a Staffordshire Police spokesman confirmed on Wednesday that the man has serious injuries, but is in a stable condition in hospital.
The force said the incident happened after his white Ford Transit van stolen and are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
Detectives are investigating the theft and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information or dashcam footage of the incident to contact 101 quoting incident number 279 of 4 March.
