Masked robbers armed with machetes steal car in Walsall house raid terror
Police are hunting machete-wielding robbers who threatened a family during a break-in at a Walsall home.
The masked offenders broke into the home in Mill Street shortly before 1am on Friday.
Armed with machetes and hammers, several offenders threatened the occupants of the house, before stealing a car.
No-one was injured in the terrifying incident.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Officers were called to Mill Street in Walsall just before 1am on Friday after a property was broken into and a car stolen.
"Several masked offenders armed with machetes and hammers threatened the occupants before making off in a black Corsa.
"Fortunately no-one was injured. Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information should contact police."
