Tyrone Andrew appeared at Birmingham Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday.

The 19-year-old was told a provisional date for his trial would be set for June 18.

Andrew, of St Helen’s Street, Derby, was charged with murdering 19-year-old Reagan.

Reagan, from Pelsall, was attacked after violence broke out at a boxing event at Walsall Town Hall on October 14.

A post mortem examination confirmed he died from a wound to his neck.

Andrew, who was remanded in custody, is expected to enter his plea to the murder charge on February 9.
