Serial thief who was banned from Dudley is jailed
A career criminal who was banned from Dudley town centre has been jailed after being caught shoplifting.
Samantha Walker stole meat from Asda on High Street, Dudley and cheese from a Spar shop in Gornal.
By going into Asda on March 31, Walker, aged 26, was breaching her town centre ban.
She was also seen in the town centre on April 14 and April 18 and was subject to suspended prison sentence at the time, magistrates in Dudley were told.
The court heard when she went into the Spar on April 15, she told staff she had HIV and threatened to stab them with a 'dirty needle'.
Walker, of Kingford Rise, Upper Gornal, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and three counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order.
She was jailed for six months and ordered to pay costs of £115.
