Wayne Kendall, aged 18, also shockingly threatened a teenage girl that if she called police, he would 'cut her up' and send her back to her mother in the post.

Kendall, of Slacky Lane, Walsall, appeared from a young offenders institution via videolink at Wolverhampton Crown Court charged with two counts of robbery and assault with intent to rob. He was sentenced to three-and-a-half years detention in a young offenders institution.

Prosecutor Mr Stefan Kolodynski explained the reign of terror, beginning with Kendell's first robbery charge.

He said that Kendall approached a man who he knew outside a Coral bookmakers in Darlaston in May.

He said: "Kendall grabbed his Hudl tablet, worth £60, but when his victim asked for it back, Kendall said: 'Do you want to get stabbed?'"

He then told his victim that if he wanted it back he had to get him £1,000. Mr Kolodynski said: "In October, he met a woman called Chelsea Thomas in a bar called The Pitch, in Walsall.

"They got to know each other and she invited him back to her home.

"She fell asleep with Kendall in the room at around 10.50pm, but when she woke up at around 7am the following day, Kendall had gone. She went downstairs to see the front door was unlocked and someone had gone through her handbag.

"After going back upstairs, she discovered that an iPhone, a Blackberry, £20 from her purse, £11 from her bedroom and £90 savings from a jar had been taken.

"She didn't know him before they had met the night before, but searched for him on Facebook and when she found him she informed police."

Mr Kolodynski then told of Kendall's shocking attack on Paige Green, 15 and Jordan Lewis, 16, at a bus stop in Darlaston.

"On October 17, Kendall was riding past on his bike when Miss Green and Mr Lewis were engaged in banter during which Miss Green told Mr Lewis to 'f*** off'.

"Kendall heard this and took it as an excuse to challenge them. He started bullying them, he said 'I own these streets and I'll hunt you down.' He punched Jordan in the face and tried to get Paige's phone off her. He then challenged Jordan to a fight, punching him a second time while Paige was standing nearby.

"He said to her: 'I know your family, if you call the police I'll cut you up and send you back to your mother in the mail.'

"He punched Jordan in the face once more before ordering him to kiss his shoes, saying if he didn't he would stab him.

"He held him down and forced him to kiss one of his trainers. He then said to the pair: "I know you both, I'll stab you", before riding off on his bike."

A victim statement from Miss Green was read out, in which she said she was scared to go into town now and she rarely goes outside. She said she feared that she will be attacked every time someone goes past her on a bike and it would take her 'ages' to get over this.

Kendall plead guilty to both counts of robbery and to one count of assault with intent to rob.

Defence barrister Anthony Bell said that Kendall has an alcohol problem, and was under the influence when he committed the offences.

Judge James Bearbridge told Kendall: "You are a bully and a menace to society, and you appear to be proud of that. For these latest offences I must give you a custodial sentence of some considerable length."
