Man facing trial over murder in Stone street
A man is to go on trial accused of murder in a Staffordshire street.

Connan McLeod, aged 22, was stabbed to death on the edge of a playing field in Whitemill Lane, Stone, just 200 yards from his home, on April 12 this year.
Daniel Allott, aged 26, of Bagots Oak, Stafford, appeared via video-link at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court yesterday.
He pleaded not guilty and the case was adjourned for an expected 10 day trial at Stafford Crown Court on September 29.
