Police quiz man over Willenhall pub murder bid

Police were today continuing to question a man in connection with a double shooting and stabbing outside a Willenhall pub six years ago.

The 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday following a raid at an address in Granville Street in Birmingham city centre.

Three men, aged 19, 24 and 27 were injured during the disorder at the Worker's Rest on Upper Lichfield Street in Willenhall on July 6, 2007.

Two men from Wolverhampton, Anthony Hamilton and Michael Straker, were jailed for the attack in 2008.
