Cannock man charged with supplying cannabis

A man has been charged with supplying cannabis after a 'substantial' seizure of the class B drug in Staffordshire.

Officers discovered plants worth an estimated £10,000 at an address in Saturn Close, Cannock.

Jason Kirkham, aged 23, of Bennion Road, Cannock, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of amphetamine.

He was released on bail to appear before magistrates at Cannock on September 16.

The charge is the latest in Staffordshire Police's ongoing crackdown on drugs, codenamed Operation Nemesis.

In recent weeks, 15 addresses in the Cannock, Hednesford and Heath Hayes areas have been targeted.
