Assault victim in critical condition after Walsall pub car park attack
A man remained in a critical condition in hospital today after an assault outside a pub in Walsall.

Police were called to the car park of the Horse & Jockey in Bloxwich Road at around 2.30am on Monday.
The man, believed to be in his late 20s, suffered a serious head injury and detectives are appealing for witnesses as an investigation continues.
Police said the pub is on a busy main road and hope there may have been some passers-by who witnessed someone acting suspiciously.
It is believed the attacker or attackers fled the scene.
Police taped off the car park of the pub while a probe was launched.
