Man, 33, charged with murder at Birmingham pub
A 33-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man shot dead at a Birmingham pub.
The man was appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court today charged with the murder of Marlon O'Reilly, who what shot dead at the Dovecote pub in Cockshut Hill, Sheldon, on May 10.
The man was arrested as he got off a plane at Thailand at Birmingham Airport just after 7.30pm on Wednesday.
A 26-year-old woman from Tile Cross, Birmingham, continues to be questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detectives have been following a number of leads as part of the investigation, and one line of inquiry is that Marlon was a victim of mistaken identity and was killed while having a drink with friends at the pub.
Police have renewed an appeal for help with the investigation.
