Police hunt for man over Lye attack
Detectives today issued a photograph of a man suspected of breaking into a house and attacking a teenage woman inside.
Police want to trace 20-year-old Alan Davies about the assault which left the woman, aged 19, with head and facial injuries.
The attack happened at an undisclosed property, in Lye, on February 9.
Officers say the person who broke in was known to the victim, who received treatment for her injuries.
Det Sgt Craig Harris, of Dudley Police public protection unit, urged people to come forward and help trace Mr Davies.
He said: "We want to hear from anyone who knows where Alan is, as we need to speak to him as part of our investigation into this assault.
"The victim's injuries were fairly serious and we urge people to help us trace the suspect, where possible."
