Puppies stolen in Willenhall home raid
A dog owner today made an emotional plea for the safe return of his three bulldog puppies that were stolen during a raid at his Willenhall home.
Thieves prised open a window to get into Michael Lambeth's home before fleeing with cash, sentimental jewellery and three of his beloved puppies.
The father of three said he had only been gone from his home in Bloxwich Road North, Short Heath, for 25 minutes when the thieves attacked.
He returned to find his red and white coloured eight-week-old puppies gone.

They were taken from his living room and thieves had also left a trail of destruction. Mr Lambeth, aged 54, today made a plea for their safe return of the puppies and said he was prepared to offer a reward for information leading to the conviction of the criminals after the raid. He said:
"We are just gutted. I've bottle fed the puppies and taken care of them from birth. I've had them vaccinated.
"There were four puppies but I had given one of them to my son Richard. Eva was at his house or would have been taken too.
"It's put us on our guard. We are putting CCTV around the garden and house now."
The burglary happened after he left his home at about 10.50pm last Friday.
Police spokeswoman Deb Edmonds said: "Our enquiries are ongoing. We are looking for any CCTV opportunities."
Anyone with information can call 101.
