A missing prisoner has been arrested in Cannock, police revealed today.
David Blood, aged 46, from Tamworth, was held in Norton Canes shortly before 7.30pm last night.
Blood was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2003 for robbery, conspiracy to rob and possession of a firearm with intent. He absconded from HMP Sudbury, Derbyshire, on April 8.
