Lucky residents on streets in Black Country and Staffordshire scoop £1,000 in People's Postcode Lottery
It has been a happy new year for People's Postcode Lottery players in parts of the Black Country and Staffordshire after their numbers came up, netting them £1,000 a ticket.
Two postcodes in Wolverhampton and Stafford were selected as winners in the People's Postcode Lottery in two of the draws held in the first week of 2026.
The winning ticket holders for ST18 9TB, which covers Sandon Road in Sandon, just north of Stafford, were announced among the 20 daily UK £1,000-a-ticket prize draw winners on January 2.
There was also joy for ticket holders in WV10 8DD, which covers Dryden Road in Fallings Park, as they also scooped £1,000 from the daily draw on January 5.
Players pay £12.25 a month to enter the daily draw and be in with the chance of winning £1,000 per ticket.
Thirty per cent of the money from ticket sales goes directly to charities, with more than £700 million raised to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
