Wolverhampton cafe owner looking forward to helping people who are lonely, homeless and in need to have a merry Christmas
A cafe owner is ready to help provide free Christmas meals to people in need across Wolverhampton.
Reece Lambert will be welcoming people into Reece's Cafe in the Moseley area of the city on Christmas Day for the third year of helping homeless, vulnerable and lonely people by providing them with a free festive meal.
Mr Lambert said he will also be sending out deliveries around the city of meals, which includes turkey, mashed and roasted potatoes, vegetables, gravy and a pudding, as well as a small gift bag, and said he felt blessed to be able to help people at this time of year.
He said: "We welcome in people who are in need and give them a free meal, pudding and a goody bag, and we'll be doing deliveries for people who can't get out of the house.
"I did a few of those deliveries last year and I met a lot of vulnerable people who aren't able to get out of the house, so it's a big blessing to me that we've helped so many people."

Mr Lambert said he had started doing the meals and deliveries due to not having much to do on Christmas Day and deciding to do it to give back to people and said the reaction from people had been wonderful.
He said: "It's been really positive and I've had a lot of people gravitate towards it and support it on my social media, so it's been really good.
"We've taken a lot of donations over the years as well and I've actually had to put a stop to it because we don't need any more money and I don't want to be taking people's money for the sake of it.
"It's just been really good and really positive and It makes me feel feel good and happy to help people, as I know there are a lot of lonely people at Christmas, so I want to be able to do it until I physically can't any more."
