Creative event in Birmingham
Wolverhampton-born author and journalist Sathnam Sanghera is the guest host at the latest Creative Conversations event run by the West Midlands Growth Company.
It is taking place on September 17 from 12 noon in Studio 5, Birmingham Hippodrome.
Creative Conversations explores the role of the creative industries in urban regeneration, education and employment.
Mr Sanghera, who wrote The Boy with the Topknot, will be joined by panellists Gurdip Bhangoo, head of future skills and events at BBC Academy; Clair Mowbray, chief executive of the National College for High Speed Rail and Professor David Roberts, national teaching fellow at Birmingham City University.
Tickets are £25 and include a welcome drink and light two-course seated lunch with wine.
